Fence lines, ranch roads and trails

We open defined corridors for access, fencing and visibility. At the walkthrough we agree on the route, the width and the trees to keep.

Cleared corridor along a fence line worked by B&B in Central Texas

What we open

  • Fence lines and easements
  • Ranch roads and trails
  • Shooting lanes

Before the walkthrough

If you know where the corridor runs, mark it with flagging tape or send a pin from your phone. If a surveyor has marked a line, leave the stakes in place and tell us about them. Hand work around fences and structures can be added with a ground hand.

Fits with other work

Corridor work is often combined with forestry mulching or pasture shredding in the same visit. For hunting land see deer lease clearing. Rates are on the pricing page.

How a job runs

  1. You call. Tell us where the property is and what you want to keep or clear.
  2. Ray walks the property with you. You point out what stays and what goes.
  3. You get the day count in writing. The expected time is agreed before the machine is unloaded.
  4. We do the work. A B&B operator runs the machine.
  5. You pay for the time worked. If the job finishes early, the bill reflects it.

What affects the quote

Acreage, density, terrain and access all affect the time, and the time is what you pay for. Every machine rate includes an operator. If the job finishes early, you pay for the time worked. Read how our pricing works, use the estimator, or see how to prepare for the walkthrough.

Questions

Can you clear along an existing fence without damaging it?

That is what the ground hand with a chainsaw is for. Hand work around fences and structures is added at the published hourly rate.

Do you set the width?

You do. We agree the route, the width and the trees to keep at the walkthrough.
