Forestry mulching in Central Texas
We process brush where it stands, so there is nothing to pile, burn or haul. The mulch stays on the ground and the trees you want to keep stay standing.

- Operator included in every rate
- Rates published
- $2M general liability
- Mon to Sat, 7am to 7pm
How the work goes
Ray walks the property with you first. You point out what stays and what goes, we talk about access, and we agree on the scope. After that you get the expected day count in writing before the machine is unloaded.
The Bobcat T86 carries the forestry mulcher. It grinds yaupon, cedar and mixed brush and small trees in a single pass, and the material is left on the ground as mulch. The smaller Bobcat T595 and the telehandler are there for cleanup, grapple work and reach when a job needs them.
What it is good for
- Taking back wooded acreage that has filled in with yaupon and mixed brush
- Opening access between established trees
- Clearing fence lines, trails and lanes to a width we agree on
- Preparing ground before pasture work or a building site
Good to know before you call
Brush such as yaupon can sprout again from the roots, so land that has to stay open may need a follow-up pass later. Mulching grinds at the surface, so it is a different job from pulling stumps and roots. If you want debris hauled away, that is quoted separately.
Machine rates, the five-hour minimum and day rates are on the pricing page.
How a job runs
- You call. Tell us where the property is and what you want to keep or clear.
- Ray walks the property with you. You point out what stays and what goes.
- You get the day count in writing. The expected time is agreed before the machine is unloaded.
- We do the work. A B&B operator runs the machine.
- You pay for the time worked. If the job finishes early, the bill reflects it.
What affects the quote
Acreage, density, terrain and access all affect the time, and the time is what you pay for. Every machine rate includes an operator. If the job finishes early, you pay for the time worked. Read how our pricing works, use the estimator, or see how to prepare for the walkthrough.
Questions
Do you leave the mulch on the property?
Yes. The mulcher grinds brush where it stands and the material stays on the ground. If you want material hauled off, that is quoted separately.
Can you keep certain trees?
Yes. At the walkthrough we agree on which trees stay, and we work around them.
How do I get a number?
Call 855-BNB-DIRT or 903-626-2000. After a walkthrough you get the expected day count in writing, and the machine rates are on the pricing page.
